Jean Prosper, of Stamford, was arrested on second-degree assault with a firearm, according to police.

Assistant Stamford Police Chief Richard Conklin said Prosper and the alleged victim had an ongoing feud that erupted in violence when they got into an argument on Oct. 18 outside of Brennan's By The Beach at 82 Iroquois Road around 11 p.m.

The man who was attacked went to the hospital the next day to have doctors attend to the gash on his head from the pistol, authorities said.

Prosper turned himself over to police on Friday, Nov. 8. He was released after posting a $25,000 bond, authorities said.
